The agitating United Democratic Madheshi Front has pledged its support to dislodge the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli-led government.
Talking to media persons at the Legislature-Parliament premises here today, Front’s coordinator and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav said that the Forum will support to topple the incumbent government but indicated that the Front may not join the new coalition government.
As for supporting the new government, Yadav stated that it depends on the attitude of the new government and whether the demands of UDMF will be met by the new government and whether it walks the talk on the past agreements made with the Front.
Discussions among the major political parties are taking place after CPN-MC, the major coalition party in the incumbent government, withdrew its support on Tuesday.
According to the new political development, the major opposition and the largest party in the Legislature-Parliament Nepali Congress and CPN-MC have agreed to form a new coalition government. RSS
