A minor was killed while another person was injured after being hit by a van at Bimalnagar in Bandipur along the Prithivi Highway this morning.
The deceased has been identified as six-year-old Suman Chepang of Chyangli in Palungtar municipality-3 of Gorkha, according to District Police Office, Tanahu.
The accident took place when the van (Ba.11 Cha. 9682) heading towards Kathmandu from Pokhara hit the child as he was crossing the road in Bimalnagar of Bandipur municipality-6, police said.
Kedar Sharma,42, of Chautara VDC-6, Sindhupalchowk who was travelling in the van was injured. He is undergoing treatment at the Laxmi Hospital in Dumre. RSS
