Govt to send DPMs Nidhi and Mahara to India and China soon

Two Deputy Prime Ministers-Bimalendra Nidhi and Krishna Bahadur Mahara-are set to visit India and China respectively as special representative of the Prime Minister to brief the neighbours about the formation of the new government and latest political situation of Nepal.
Today’s Cabinet meeting took a decision to this effect.
Mahara, also Finance Minister and government’s spokesperson, said that they (himself and Nidhi) would make an official visit to the two neighbours soon. Nidhi also holds the Home Affairs Ministry portfolio.
The meeting directed respective ministers to control thriving black marketeering and the reports of the sale of substandard food items.
The Cabinet also decided to amend or revise conflicting laws in dealing with such illegal activities.
In another context, on giving the government full shape, Mahara said the government would take full shape very soon. RSS
