A total of 12,964 representatives have been elected as of today, through the Local Level elections that was held on May 14.
According to the Joint Election Mobilization Centre of the Election Commission, vote counting has been completed in 278 of the 283 local levels where the election was held.
As per the latest report, 278 were elected to the post of Mayor or Chair, 278 to the post of deputy Mayor or Vice chair, 2,513 ward chairs, 2,508 women members and 2,367 Dalit women members, according to the EC. Results are now awaited for five local levels. RSS
