Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 451 people in Nepal in the last 24 hours. Of those confirmed infected, 35 are women and 416 are men.
Tests conducted in 21 laboratories across the country confirmed the infection in 451 people during 5,206 swab tests. At the same time, the infection has been confirmed in 6,211 people across the country.
Among the confirmed cases, one man from Morang has been confirmed infected at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Biratnagar. Similarly, 10 people from Parsa and one person from Rautahat have been infected at the Narayani Hospital laboratory.
Infection has been confirmed in five people of Tanahun in the provincial laboratory Pokhara. Four people from Doti, three from Achham and two from Kailali have been infected at the Seti Hospital laboratory.
The Bheri Hospital laboratory has confirmed infection in 16 people from Bardiya, five from Banke and three from Pyuthan. Five people have been confirmed infected at the Karnali Health Sciences Laboratory in Dailekh. The infection has been confirmed in 88 people of Dailekh and 19 people of Surkhet in the laboratory of Surkhet Hospital.
Infection has been confirmed in 20 people of Mahottari and 4 people of Dhanusha in the provincial laboratory Janakpur. Three people from Nuwakot, three from Arghakhanchi and one from Chitwan have been infected at the Bharatpur Hospital laboratory.
Two people from Gulmi and five from Rupandehi have been infected at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory in Rupandehi.
Three people from Sunsari, 21 from Morang and one from Jhapa have been infected at the Koshi Hospital laboratory. Four people from Rolpa and one from Kathmandu have been confirmed infected at the Dhulikhel Hospital laboratory.
Infection has been confirmed in 43 people at the Rapti Health Science Laboratory in Dang. Similarly, one person from Kailali has been infected at the TRI Teaching Hospital laboratory.
A test conducted in Hetauda has confirmed infection in 25 people of Rautahat. Nine people from Dhading and one from Kathmandu have been confirmed infected at Shukraraj Tropical Hospital, Teku.
One person from Lalitpur and two from Kathmandu have been confirmed infected at Patan Hospital.
Similarly, the National Public Health Laboratory has one person from Bara, seven from Gulmi and one from Kapilvastu. Similarly, there are 10 from Mahottari, 10 from Palpa and 76 from Rautahat.
Infection has also been confirmed in 7 people of Rupandehi, 4 people of Siraha and 23 people of Sarlahi.
Of those confirmed infected, 5,151 are in isolation, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. In the last 24 hours, 67 infected people have been discharged.
