Kathmandu- The second most important festival of Nepali Hindus, Tihar is starting from Thursday.
Though Yampanchak started on Wednesday, the first day of Tihar, Kag Tihar is being celebrated on Friday
According to Hindu religion, Crow which is called “Kag” in Nepali is considered to be a messenger of Hindu deity of death Yamaraj .
Crows are worshiped on Kag Tihar and given different delicacies.
The Tihar festival is celebrated for five days.
