Two Found Dead, Three Still Missing In Rivers

Dhading, June 12: Two persons have been found dead out of five who went missing after they were washed away by three different rivers in Dhading district.
According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jageshwor Bhandari of the District Police Office Dhading, the dead body of 36-year-old Suman Shrestha from Nilkantha Municipality was recovered on Friday afternoon, 200 meters down from the place wherefrom he had gone missing. The Ankhu River swept him away on Wednesday while he was swimming. He was also a district’s football player. 
Similarly, the authorities have found the dead body of 25-year-old Ram Bahadur Bisankhe of Sidhhalek Rural Municipality on Friday morning from the Ichchakamana Rural Municipality – 4. He was washed away by the Trishuli while he was fishing on Tuesday. He had fallen into the mighty river while placing a fishing net.
The authorities have been unable to find the other three persons Subash Nepali, Dinesh Nepali, and Santosh Nepali, all from Ward 2 of Jwalamukhi, who disappeared in the Budhigandaki while they were taking a bath after performing the last rites of one of their relatives Tuesday afternoon.
As per the locals, the river washed them away, and other participants of the last rites began their search immediately.
Later on, personnel from the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force (APF), and Nepali Army intensified the search but in vain. None of them has been found so far.
