KATHMANDU – General strike in Far Western region has entered day 12 on Tuesday, following disputes between government and band enforcers talks team.
On Friday the government had formed a three member talks team in the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister K P Sitaula.
Band enforcers did not call off the strike demanding that the negotiations be held in Far West and not in Kathmandu as proposed by the government.
12 days long band has affected the life of the people throughout hilly and terai districts of the region and even hospitals have felt short of oxygen, medicines, vaccines and other general amenities including food. RSS
