KATHMANDU – UCPN Maoist Vice Chairman Naryan Kaji Shrestha broke into fit of anger on Saturday after attending the lead-party meeting and exclaimed that the possibility of dissolving the Constituent Assembly without drafting the new constitution has grown dominant.
While fuming at the Congress and UML, Shrestha accused both parties of not neither showing flexibility on disputed issues and nor agreeing to resolve those issues through majority based voting in the CA. Claiming that both parties presented themselves in an utterly autocratic manner, Sherstha ruled out the possibility of promulgating the new constitution in such status quo.
Accusing both parties of not heeding and understanding the demand of the time, he informed that both parties foiled efforts to garner consensus on disputed issues by not showing willingness to accept the recommendations made by the CA
