जेष्ठ १७ गते, २०६९ मा प्रकाशितKATHMANDU: At least nine persons died on the spot and 12 others were injured in a jeep accident near Shantinagar in Doti district this morning.
The accident took place when the jeep (Na 1 Ja 3261) heading towards Dipayal from Shantinagar in Doti fell around 500 meters off the road, said Assistant Sub-Inspector, Jogi Singh Bhandari.
All the injured have been taken to Doti Hospital for treatment. Identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet.
Police personnel and locals have been carrying out rescue operation.
According to the Traffic Police Office, Doti, details of the accident is yet to be ascertained. RSS
