श्रावण २२ गते, २०६९ मा प्रकाशितBARDIYA: Two hundred houses in Bardia have been inundated by flood waters, following incessant rainfall since the past two days.
Houses in Bhimmapur VDC, Guptipur village of Daulatpur VDC, Rajapur settlement of Rajapur VDC, Gulariya and Ashapur of Gulariya municipality, Lalpur and Dudhata villages of Mohammapur VDC have been inundated, thereby forcing people to run for shelter out of their homes.
Meanwhile, the District Natural Calamity Rescue Committee has made an on-site inspection of the affected area.
High alertness exercised by the authorities concerned has been successful in neutralizing any loss to human life, said Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bohara. CDO Bohara is the Coordinator of the Committee. RSS
