Gajurel rules out consensus san PM’s resignation

KATHMANDU: Vice Chairman of CPN Maoist CP Gajurel has said that government’s resignation was the the first condition necessary for resolving the ongoing status quo.


Gajurel ruled out the possibility of garnering consensus unless PM Bhattarai steps down.



Speaking at a program in Tansen on Saturday, he said ” there cannot be no consensus unless Bhattarai does not steps down.”


In a different note, he also ruled out the possibility to reinstate the erstwhile Constituent Assembly (CA).


Accusing the lead political forces- UCPN Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN UML and Madheshi Front– on imposing syndicate-politics, he called on political parties to break the syndicate.
