President of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum, Upendra Yadav has said that political parties and their leaders should learn from the sufferings of Afghanistan and stop the political situation of Nepal from deteriorating further.
Speaking at a greetings exchange program on the occasion of Dashain, Deepawali, Id and Chhath by the Madhesi Teachers’ Forum here on Saturday, Mr Yadav emphasized on the need of a new constitution to free Nepali politics from crisis.
General Secretary of the party, Ram Sahaya Yadav claimed that the dissident janajati, indigenous and madhesi leaders from the UML and Congress were joining the front led by the Forum.
Meanwhile, speaking at the Jitiya festival and interaction organized by Madhesi Women’s Society, Chairperson of National Women’s Commission Sesh Chandtara said Madhesi women have been the most suppressed and so the state and government need to give equal treatment to them as well.
Chairperson of the Society, Anita Nirala said Madhesi women should be given opportunities by the political parties, as they are also capable to run the state.
The Jitiya festival is an age-old festival observed by the Madhesi women who observe a fast wishing for the happiness, peace and prosperity of their.
