The fire started at 9.30 a.m. today from Sector D of the camp and destroyed 30 huts there. Some 30 huts were demolished to prevent the fire from spreading to other huts, said Champa Singh Rai, Secretary at the Camp.
It is suspected that the fire started from a lamp lit in celebration of the Laxmi Puja festival.
