Sandhikharka, Arghakhanchi – Pampha Bhusal, the CPN-Maoist spokesperson, has accused UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister and Vice Chairman Baburam Bhattarai of being Indian brokers and betraying the country.

She revealed that the party will launch street protest for people’s democracy following the conclusion of party’s central general convention.

Speaking at a press conference at Sandhikarka on Monday, Bhusal condemned the president’s move to call only the three political parties and some Madhesi parties for consensus and claimed that the CPN-Maoist will resort to street protest if the leaders bypass the party that has 91 lawmakers.

She said the BIPPA agreement inked by Bhattarai with India, four-point agreement, among other controversial agreements, were anti-nationalist move.

She said, “The party can re-think on unification with the mother party if Dahal and Bhattarai scraps the above mentioned agreements and apologise with the party, else unification is impossible.”

“We split from them because they ignored the sentiments of People’s War, now we will launch street protest.” Bhusal said.

“We had not thought that Dahal and Bhattarai would betray us like this,” Bhusal added.
