Constituent Assembly member Bishwendra Paswan has been banned from entering the Supreme Court to attend a hearing, for he failed to produce identity card.
CA member Paswan who had filed a writ petition was about to enter the Supreme Court but obstructed by the security person reasoning he did not bear identity card.
“I’m writ petitioner Biswendra Paswan,” he told the security persons but was not allowed to enter. He also showed his CA member’s logo but in vain.
A division bench of Justices Girish Chandra Lal and Gyanendra Bahadur Karki of the Supreme Court was conducting the hearing on the writ CA member Paswan had filed demanding the representation of the indigenous communities among the 26 members to be nominated by the government in the CA. SETOPATI
