CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the party leaders and cadres to be prepared for local elections.
Addressing a new year greeting exchange programme organized by the Nuwakot-Kathmandu Liaison Forum here today, leader Nepal voiced for holding local bodies’ election to end corruption and expedite developmental activities at the local level.
He stressed for 40 per cent woman representation in each committee of the party.
Leader Nepal also expressed pleasure as the district was developing as an economic zone with exit points to China.
On a different note, leader Nepal urged all party leaders and cadres to work to maintain party unity. RSS
