UML Standing Committee decides to continue with efforts to forge national consensus

The 38th meeting of the Standing Committee of ruling party CPN (UML) has decided to continue with the efforts to forge national consensus. 
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli at his official residence at Baluwatar in Kathmandu here today morning has also urged all the political parties to move ahead forging unity on issues of national concern as post-quake reconstruction operation and ushering country to the path of economic prosperity. 
A press statement issued by the Party’s Secretary and Chief of Publicity Department Yogesh Bhattarai following the meeting notes that the meeting has reaffirmed the ruling party’s stance on national consensus since the 16-point consensus inked on June 8, 2015. 
Furthermore, the statement reads that the CPN (UML) is committed to the implementation of new constitution and the post-quake-reconstruction operation, for which the party has also requested all the political parties to join the efforts on the same. RSS
