Seven agitators held in Rautahat

Police here have arrested seven people on the charge of agitating the programme by hoisting black flags in the district today.
The agitators were protesting by hoisting the black flags against a team of the Development Committee under the Legislature-Parliament as the team was attending the interaction programme organised at the District Development Committee hall after inspecting the construction work of postal highway.
The arrested are Sadbhawana district Party chair Shekh Jamsed, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal district vice-chair Dharmendra Patel, Forum Student Front’s Prakash bhai, Anil Singh of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party and Shobha Sah, Laddabhai Patel and Ajay Gupta of Forum, police said.
The team led by the committee chair Rabindra Adhikari had carried out the onsite inspection there.
The team compromises lawmakers, Ram Kumar Bhattarai, Ram Ayodhya Prasad Yadav, Ram Chandra Pokharel, Ranjana Sarkar, Rajeshwori Devi Singh and Ajay Shankar Nayak.
Addressing the programme committee chair Adhikari said that the politics should be development centred.
He added that the construction works of the postal highway would be completed within three years. RSS
