A huge number of devotees have been paying homage to the Kalika Bhagawati temple of Baglung with the start of the Navaratri phase of the Bada Dashain festival.
The devotees are visiting the shrine of the Hindu Goddess Bhagawati from various parts of the country. Millions of devotees are expected to visit and pay homage to the Goddess, according to Bhagwati Temple’s Guthi Management Committee.
Committee Chairman, Raju Khadka, said 25,000 devotees were visiting the temple on a daily basis. Since the start of the Bada Dashain festival, which is into its fourth day, the temple has already collected Rs 490,000 in offerings. RSS
