4 party consensus alienating other parties won’t be acceptable: Thapa

Chairman of Rashtriya Janshakti Party Surya Bahadur Thapa has said that the any consensus reached between major political parties by not taking other political parties into confidence, won’t be acceptable to them.

While conceding that the consensus among political parties is necessary to resolve the ongoing status quo, Thapa pointed to the need of forging an all-party consensus.

He claimed that only understanding between the major political parties won’t provide outlet to the present status quo.

He stressed on the need to resurrect the erstwhile CA to conclude the remaining task of the constitution drafting and also ruled out the possibility to cooperate with the pro-monarchist political forces in the future.
