Consensus depends on Dahal: Sushil Koirala

JHULE, DEC 13 – Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala said that if UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was serious, there could be an agreement within three days.


During the 13th day of NC leader Bhim Bahadur Tamang’s death, Koirala claimed that the political parties would forge a consensus within the given deadline. “If Dahal is serious, there would be agreement within the deadline. Leaders need to focus on solving the deadlock not complicate it further,” said Koirala.


Koirala also said that Constituent Election is possible if the leaders forge consensus within five days.


Meanwhile, Koirala said that Tamang had “extraordinary personality within an ordinary person”. He said that the nation lost a socialist personality in Tamang.
