Public library in janakpur gets land ownership

Janakpurdham, June 1: The Public Library of Janakpur has finally received ownership of the land it duly owned.
A news report by Rastriya Samachar Samiti drew attention towards the fate of the oldest library of Janakpur, thereby putting an end to the 58 years old land dispute.
The Guthi Sansthan, Janakpur municipality and Greater Janakpur Area Development Council took a decision to handover the ownership of around four kattha of land to the library.
It may be noted that land mafia had tried to transfer the ownership of the library land to private ownership.
The library was founded in 2012 B.S. and its land was transferred to the Ram Chandra Guthi in 2048 thereby inviting a dispute over its ownership, according to the library chairperson Bipatti Mandal. RSS
