In the last 24 hours, another 463 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Nepal.
In a regular press briefing on Sunday, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwar Gautam said that Morang, Jhapa, Udaipur, Ilam, Sunsari, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Darjula, Gorkha, Khotang, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Sindhupalchok, Gulmi, Dhading, Lalitpur, Bajura, Kaski, Nawalpur, He said that corona infection has been confirmed in 463 more districts including Baglung, Salyan, Lamjung, Myagdi, Kapilbastu, Palpa, Pyuthan, Dang, Rolpa and Rukum West.
According to him, there are 105 women and 358 men among the newly infected. At the same time, the total number of corona infected in Nepal has reached 12 thousand 772.
Similarly, the number of corona cures has exceeded 3,000. In the past 24 hours, 179 people, including 13 women and 166 men, have recovered and returned home, said Gautam. The death toll from the corona, which has spread to all 77 districts, has risen to 28 so far, with no more deaths in the last 24 hours, the ministry said. He also said that the number of corona cures has reached 3,013.
In the last 24 hours, 4,962 corona tests have been performed on 2,15,839 people using PCR method.
Similarly, 2,732 people have been tested by RDT method in the last 24 hours and 296,766 people have been tested so far. Today, there are 61,731 people in various quarantines across the country.
Similarly, 9,731 people are being treated in isolation of different hospitals.
