Kathmandu, May 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said all State bodies should be equally responsible to maintain financial discipline.
During a presentation on the 60th annual report-2079 of the Office of Auditor General at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Wednesday, PM Prachanda shared that the issues raised by the report of the Office of the Auditor General would be implemented.
Auditor General Tankamani Sharma Dangal brought to light the issues pointed out by the annual report during the presentation.
His presentation also focused on the activities to be carried out by the federal, provincial, and local governments regarding the clearance of arrears, among others.
Saying there would not be any compromise while maintaining financial discipline, PM Prachanda opined that the issues pointed out by the report regarding clearance of arrears should be implemented with an action plan.
He urged all, who have taken the responsibility regarding finance issues, to carry out activities being honest and transparent.
On the occasion, Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi directed the civil administration to implement the issues raised by the Office of the Auditor General. (RSS)
